The Cengage Learning Blackboard Learn PAC allows faculty and students to register their Cengage Learning access code and begin utilizing their solution through the Blackboard Learn platform in just a few simple steps. Uniquely, the Blackboard Learn PAC will provide space for students to write their instructor’s URL, Login ID and their Password. The card will provide instructions, the individual access code, information about the solution and contact information for Cengage Learning support via phone and web. What support will Cengage Learning provide for this new Blackboard Learn PAC? Support around the PACs is provided by Cengage Learning. Individuals experiencing issues with their registration or with their learning solution should NOT attempt to create a second account. FAQs for Blackboard System Administrators What does the release of the new Cengage Learning Blackboard PAC mean for you? In an effort to better streamline digital learning across Cengage Learning and Blackboard, Cengage Learning is distributing product access that will allow instructors and students to utilize the content associated with these PACs only through the Cengage Learning Building Block. As a Blackboard client running Blackboard Learn 9.1.Service Pack 5 and above, you are eligible to download and activate the Cengage Learning Building Block, giving your institution access to Cengage Learning digital products, specifically CourseMate and MindTap™, within Blackboard Learn. If you’ve activated the Building Block or plan to make it available before the spring, instructors and students who receive this bundle will be able to access the content associated with this PAC directly through Blackboard Learn.   What should I do if I haven’t downloaded the Cengage Learning Building Block or I’m unable to activate Building Block prior to the start of next semester’s classes? If you have not downloaded this Building Block or you cannot activate this Building Block your instructors and students will not be able to access their class material and you will need to contact Cengage Learning technical support directly to develop a work-around solution. When will this bundle be available? Effective immediately, if an instructor starts using a Cengage product for which a Blackboard Learn PAC is available, the bookstore will place an order for the product and the bundle will ship out.
