Preconference Workshop Sessions
The preconference workshops will feature the following sessions: - All About eAccounts (4 hours) - This workshop will focus on various aspects of the eAccounts applications including, deployment strategies, configuration requirements, as well as portal setups and branding techniques.
- Door Security 101 (8 hours) - This workshop will focus on the fundamental components on how to plan, install, configure and troubleshoot Blackboard Doors/Security from a software and hardware perspective. This course will provide the following:
• Relationships between hardware and software
• Troubleshooting through software
• Software configuration required to achieve functioning hardware
• How to better utilize entire Security environment.
• Step by step procedures to configure Security software "from soup to nuts"
• Planning considerations when implementing security
- Blackboard Transact Reporting (4 hours) - This workshop session will focus on showing you how to create reports, schedule reports and assess the data obtained within your Reporting System.
- Data Extraction - Turning Data Into Decisions (4 hours) - This workshop session will focus on showing you how to extract measurable, meaningful data from your reporting system. By using built-in report templates and writing custom SQL scripts, you will learn valuable tips on how to take existing data and use it to quantify key- business decisions.
- Planning the Bb Transact Implementation (4 hours) - This workshop session will identity and review the key components to implement a successful Bb Transact migration project.
- Video Surveillance Fundamentals and Training (4 hours) - This workshop will focus on various aspects of Bb Video Surveillance. This includes basic camera installation, image usability, image storage and retrieval, and video analytics.
- The Basics of Blackboard Transact - A System Administrators Best Practices (4 hours) - This workshop will identify key components that a system administrator of the Blackboard Transaction Application needs to manage successfully.
- Tools Scheduling Using Windows Task Scheduler (4 hours) - Understand how to schedule Blackboard Transact Tools (import/retail/board/events) via task scheduler. Best practices for management of automated tools and tasks for the Blackboard Transaction System.
